In writing, René Kruger's lawyer alleges her former subcontractor, Jacqueline Pretorius, has made serious allegations against her as part of a smear campaign. In later correspondence, her lawyer says claims of harassment made against Rene and Dawid van Jaarsveld by Morne and Johan were deemed without substance during a protection order application. Kruger said she would not address the allegations in the media as they may be subject to litigation.
She further says she's laid two criminal complaints against Pretorius who in turn says she's laid four against Kruger. Carte Blanche has seen correspondence where Kruger suggests that the issuing of the suspicious Executor's letter for the Klopper Estate was the result of a cyberattack on the Justice Department.
