MultiChoice Tanzania has launched the DStv Open View Promotion, rewarding eligible customers with access to a higher DStv package for the price of their current subscription. The limited-time offer runs from 7 September to 19 October 2026 and is available to qualifying new, active, and reconnecting DStv customers across Tanzania. 

DStv Customers Get More Channels and Content for Less

The DStv Open View Promotion is designed to thank customers for their loyalty while providing even greater entertainment value. Customers who pay for an eligible DStv package during the promotional period will automatically receive access to content available on the next higher package at no additional cost. 

The promotion gives customers the opportunity to enjoy an expanded range of entertainment, including: 

• Live sports 

• International and local movies 

• Popular TV series 

• Documentaries 

• Children's programming 

• News channels 

• Lifestyle and local content 

How the DStv Open View Promotion Work

Eligible customers who subscribe to or reconnect an approved DStv package during the promotion period will automatically be upgraded to the next higher package. 

For example: 

• Customers paying for an eligible lower-tier package will receive access to the next higher package. 

• DStv Poa customers will receive access to DStv Bomba. 

• The upgrade is applied automatically once payment is successfully processed. 

When the promotion ends on 19 October 2026, customers will automatically return to the package they originally subscribed to and paid for.

• Existing active DStv residential customers 

• New DStv customers
