We are making it easier for customers to choose the package that best suits their viewing needs. As part of CANAL+’s Global Offer Strategy, we are introducing a simplified package structure that provides greater clarity, easier upgrade options and a more consistent viewing experience.

Yes. Customers can continue using XtraView and retain their existing XtraView settings after the migration.

Yes. Customers can change to their preferred package, in accordance with the existing rules.

Existing add-on packages, such as French Touch and French Plus, will remain unchanged. Customers will continue to be charged separately for any add-on packages they have subscribed to, in addition to their DStv package.

If your current package is not affected by the restructuring, you will remain on it. If your package is affected, you will be automatically migrated to the new package at the same price as your previous package.

Yes. The new packages will be available on both DStv Stream and DStv via Streaming.

No. Existing decoder settings, favourites, XtraView settings, viewing history, billing plans and associated services will remain unchanged. Customers do not need to change any decoder settings because of the migration.

Yes. Existing add-on packages will remain available and can continue to be added to eligible new packages.

Yes. Customers subscribed to packages that are not affected by the restructuring can reconnect to their previous package.

Customers whose packages are affected by the restructuring (Familia, Familia+, Grande and Bué) will be automatically migrated to the new packages at the same price they have always paid.

Customers who have paid annually for packages that are not affected by the restructuring will remain on their current package until the end of their paid subscription period. They will not be migrated to a new package while their annual subscription is active.

Customers who have paid annually for a package that is being restructured will be automatically migrated to the new package. There will be no additional costs.

No. New customers can only subscribe to one of the four new packages: Inicial, Select, Desporto or Ultra.

If a customer wishes to switch to one of the new packages, there are two options:

• Downgrade: The customer must wait until the end of the annual viewing period, in accordance with our existing business rules.
• Upgrade: The customer must visit a DStv store to make the change and pay the difference in price.

Customers who have suspended their accounts must contact Customer Support when they wish to reactivate them. An agent will guide them through the available migration options.
