Troubled rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine's legal team has advanced a plea for the rapper's two year jail sentence to be moved to home confinement. According to Insider.com, the FEFE hitmaker has asked the judge to grant him the permission to be moved from a private prison to the confines of his home over fears that there are many 'Blood' gang members where he is currently jailed.

Real name Daniel Hernandez, the 23 year old rapper was slapped with a 24 month sentence in December 2019, after pleading guilty to several charges involved with a criminal gang.

According to The Fader, the rapper's attorney has argued that he is in danger, particularly after reports of his coorperation with the government were splashed all over the news. Citing the contents of the legal documents, Complex reports that attorney Lance Lazzaro alleged Hernandez “is still, and will continue to be for the foreseeable future, seriously at risk."
