You should know that Megan Thee Stallion and Future play in a different bracket because their latest feature cost her big bucks.

Popular rappers notoriously charge the proverbial arm and a leg for a guest feature. While it may appear that many collaborations evolve organically from friendships and affectionate associations, the reality couldn't be further from the truth.

In order to move up within the circles of the game, labels are prepared to part ways with large chunks in order to get established incumbents to collaborate with their artists. Megan The Stallion's teams know the rope, and they were not fazed by Future's demand for a massive sum.

To drop a verse on 'Pressureliscious', a single that appears on the Texas rapper's sophomore album Traumazine,  Megan's manager had to personally deliver no less than $250 000 (over R4 million) in cold hard cash!

According to XXL, The 'Hot Girl' leader wanted Future's verse badly enough to pay up.

"Somebody figured out what Future feature price," she shared in an interview with Power 106 Los Angeles' Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk. "I was just asking what's his feature price...and they was like okay 250. He wants 250K. I was like, 'Okay. Bet.' Somebody go pull 250,000 out of the bank...and go drop it off to Future and tell him I need the verse before he leave (for Miami)." (sic)
