Cardi B's major 2020 comeback through her collaborative banger, WAP with Megan Thee Stallion, is about to have its follow up.
The rapper has announced on the socials that her new single, entitled UP, will be landing on Friday. WAP hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 when after its highly hyped debut back in august 2020, adding to Belcalis' growing list of chart-toppers. And now the rapper, who hadn't released a single since her 2018's Invasion of Privacy and a slew of singles after that, is ready to return to top form.
Cardi teased her fans with the artwork and single on Twitter, announcing that they would be hearing it as of Friday, March 5th. True to her style, the artwork features the rapper spotting a sheer bodysuit with sparkling pink details. She's floating on a rooftop overlooking a city, clearly owning the world.
The rapper is said to be working on her sophomore studio album. Details on the expected premiere remain undisclosed at this time.
