AKA on Friday unleashed his hotly anticipated album BHOVAMANIA. The rapper, who'd been getting his friends excited by treating them to snippets of the projects on social for months leading to the release, finally premiered the 13 track project.
The album has already spawned a slew of hits, a list which included Casino with Sho Madjozi and Flame, Cross My Heart, Energy with Gemini Major, as well as Monuments with his long time collaborator Yanga Chief.
The record is said to be inspired by the rapper's fondness for wresting, the album marks Supamega's first full body of work since 2018's 'Touch My Blood'. The title and overarching creative is an ode to AKA’s love of sport, particularly wrestling, and brings out his alter ego persona.
“This is my first conceptual album and I am really excited about how everyone experiencing it,” said AKA in a press statement.
