Apoofee Finale Article

After weeks of nonstop family madness, Akwaaba Magic’s beloved comedy Apoofee aired its explosive season finale last night (DStv CH 150 | GOtv CH 102), and we are still recovering from the laughter, shouting, and “Ei!” moments.

The Biney family, parents Anima and Kwamina China, together with their grown children Ato Dee, Flavia, and Nora, has spent the entire season in a hilarious tug-of-war: the parents desperate to throw the kids out of the house, while the children use every trick in the book to stay put.

Anima and Kwamina finally executed their master plan: fake a “family emergency” and leave the house. But Ato Dee and Nora had already made plans to bring Anowa and "Area Cindy" respectively. Flavia, true to form, climbed into the chaos with claims that she had left Gilbert and "this time, it was permanent".

The entire house was thrown into a state of confusion when Anowa called Aunitie Naana "mother" and accused her of years of neglect.

In the most chaotic scene of the season, the parents were not answering their calls nor giving any form of update as to their whereabouts, only for a realtor to come by and drop a shocking letter with the contents reading, "This House Is For Sale." Ato Biney is up in arms, Flavia is looking at her next move and "last baby" Nora cannot fathom why she is about to be homeless.

In a state of confusion and rage, Ato Dee throws out Cindy, who gets on everyone's nerves, even though the senior Bineys are nowhere to be found and the fate of their home hangs in the balance.

The final shot? The Biney house gate is still open — no one is leaving, and no one is being thrown out just yet as the siblings frantically lok for ways to keep their home from being sold. Just one big, messy, loving Ghanaian family.

Apoofee proved once again that family isn’t about perfect harmony — it’s about surviving each other with love, laughter, and a lot of noise.

Thank you to the incredible squad — Anima, Kwamina, Ato Dee, Flavia, Nora, Anowa, Cindy, and Auntie Naana for giving us a show that felt like home.
