Biggie turned the house into a jungle, stripped away familiar comforts and gave each housemate an animal identity to embody. But the physical transformation was only part of the chaos.
Here is everything that went down during one of the season’s wildest weeks yet.
Cassi’s journey comes to an end
Cassi became the fifth housemate to leave the Show Ya Sef house after his eviction during the fourth live show. His exit was particularly emotional for Nomy, who had built a close bond with him during their time in the house.
Chimsom Chuka becomes HoH again
Chimsom Chuka secured the Head of House title for the second time this season. Reflecting on his first reign, he admitted to Biggie during his diary session that he had sometimes spoken out of turn and approached this second opportunity with a more diplomatic leadership style.
Whether a softer Chimsom Chuka could keep the house together, however, quickly became another question entirely.
Face-to-face nominations shake the house
Biggie switched things up with a face-to-face nomination process.
Each housemate had to write down the names of two people they wanted to save, reveal their choices publicly and explain their reasons.
Goddessa, Sheba and Aikou emerged with the most saves, leaving HoH Chimsom Chuka to break the tie. He chose Sheba.
The public nature of the process also exposed cracks in some relationships. Tram, for instance, began questioning his friendship with Sheba after she chose not to save him.
Welcome to Biggie’s jungle
The Topsy-Turvy experience became literal when Biggie transformed the house into a jungle.
Each housemate received an animal identity they had to embody throughout the week, while several familiar comforts were taken away. The couches in the main lounge, dining chairs and beds became off limits, forcing the housemates to adapt to their new environment.

- Araga – Cow
- Barry – Chicken
- Bells – Zebra
- Bluethopia – Cow
- Chimsom Chuka – Zebra
- Flora – Wolf
- Gerard – Lion
- Goddessa – Owl
- Keivo – Lion
- Nomy – Chicken
- Oyin – Leopard
- Ricky – Leopard
- Sheba – Lion
- Sultex – Parrot
- Temi Nkem – Parrot
- Tram – Wolf
- Yusuf – Cat
From the loud parrots to the fierce lions and watchful owls, the jungle gave us a new way to look at the personalities already emerging in the house.
BB Bucks enter the game
Big Brother also introduced more BB Bucks into the house economy.
Abi, Chimsom Chuka and Sheba received BB Bucks for their previous tenures, while top performers from the BetPawa arena games were also rewarded.
Wager wins added more currency to the housemates’ pockets, with Biggie encouraging them to barter and trade among themselves ahead of the BB Marketplace.
Suddenly, social relationships were not the only currency that mattered.
Nomy and Tram try to squash their beef
After weeks of tension, Tram reached out to Nomy in an attempt to clear the air.
He told her he believed they could actually be good friends because of how similar they are, even pointing to their shared zodiac sign. Tram admitted he did not like that their relationship had turned hostile and suggested they put the beef behind them.
Whether the peace lasts remains to be seen.
Flora and Aikou get a romantic Gambit mission
Biggie handed the Gambit, Flora and Aikou, one of their most interesting missions yet.
Separately, each was instructed to convince the other that they were developing genuine romantic feelings.
Aikou had to get closer to Flora and make her believe his interest was real without revealing that it was part of a Gambit mission.
Flora received the same instruction about Aikou. Neither knew the other had been given the exact same assignment.
The House loses the wager and Biggie goes silent
Wager preparations have rarely been peaceful in the Show Ya Sef house, and Week 5 was no different. Things took a major turn when Ricky and Tram pulled out of the presentation at the last minute, citing changes to their roles.
Biggie was unimpressed and delivered a loss verdict. He also called out the housemates for repeatedly disregarding instructions and showing disrespect, warning that the behaviour was becoming a pattern.
Then came the real punishment: silence.
Biggie stopped speaking directly to the housemates, leaving the Ninjas to deliver written instructions on his behalf.
For a house used to hearing Biggie’s voice, the silence spoke loudly.
Bells takes the arena games win
The BetPawa Friday night arena games featured four challenges, with the housemates competing for the highest overall score.
Bells came out on top with 195 points, while Keivo finished as runner-up.
Both housemates received BB Bucks for their performances.
Topsy-Turvy Week pushed the housemates in almost every direction. Some relationships strengthened. Others cracked. Strategies became clearer and patience was tested. If Week 5 proved anything, it is that in Biggie’s jungle, adapting quickly may be just as important as playing the game.
