The fifth live eviction show saw not one but two Show Ya Sef housemates shown the door: Sultex and Goddessa. But their evictions weren't the only surprise and table-shaking moment of the night.
Ebuka questions HoH Chimsom Chuka
During the first house crossing of the night, Ebuka addressed HoH Chimsom Chuka, congratulating him on back-to-back immunity and his second HoH win. He pointed out the second wager loss under his reign, and the growing camps and divisions in the house — then questioned him on his thoughts on Tram.
Chimsom Chuka stated, "I genuinely think if there was a boxing ring here, I'd beat him up." His verdict on Tram: he's all talk, no follow-through.
Sheba is crowned MIPOW
The first female HoH of the season, Sheba, finally snagged the coveted MIPOW title after opening up to Biggie in her diary session about believing she deserved it. The housemates agreed, crowning her the fourth Most Influential Player of the Week — a title that came with immunity and the BetPawa Elite Reward.
Sultex gets evicted
Ebuka went into the house for his first eviction of the night, and the lights went off for Sultex. On stage with Ebuka, he expressed his shock at the eviction, reflected on his journey in the house, and shared his plans to explore everything outside the Big Brother Naija house.
Bluethopia and Nomy get put on the spot
Ebuka wasn't done digging. He called out Bluethopia over claims that Nomy lied about her age and used Temi Nkem to advance her game. Bluetopia stood her ground: "She said she auditioned in 2020, and she says she's 26 — the audition age in Nigeria has to be 21 and above. She cannot be 26. She has to be more than that." She then went in on how Nomy bosses Temi Nkem around.
Ebuka turned the heat on Nomy next, over comments she'd made about Bluethopia's looks, Bluethopia and Chimsom Chuka 's ship, and Goddessa's friendships. Nomy didn't deny any of it: "Yes, I did say those things. I don't want to speak for everyone, but I think a lot of people have thought those things." On whether or not Bluethopia likes Chimsom Chuka specifically, she stated, "I don't think she genuinely likes him, to be honest. I'm just saying what I feel."
Goddessa gets evicted
Her eviction startled the housemates and the audience alike as Goddessa became the seventh housemate to leave the Show Ya Sef house. Asked about her relationship with Araga and whether she cared about him, she said: "I did care about him, but I think he's a very demanding young man. I think there are a lot of expectations, and I also feel like a lot of times he tends to forget the game. I want him to have his own journey while I have my own." Outside the house, Goddessa plans to continue creating music and showcasing her work as a singer and songwriter.
Temi Nkem's table-shaking moment
Asked who the "two local birds" she'd mentioned were, Temi Nkem didn't hesitate: "The two local people in this house are Oyin and Flora." Pressed on what she meant, she dropped the bombshell — Tram had allegedly told her he uses people in the house and doesn't rate several housemates, which is where their names came up. Being called "local" triggered Flora and Oyin, and chaos ensued live on air.
A surprise for the viewers
The night ended with a surprise for the viewers. The incoming Head of House will have no veto power whatsoever over Monday's nomination process. Then, right after the Live Show, Operation Release The Gambit begins — viewers decide whether to release one or both housemates involved, giving The Gambit, Flora and Aikou, the chance to compete for the prize money.
