Campaign for the Most Influential Person of the Week (MIPOW) has started already, and the housemates are put in a lot of effort into their monologues for the Wager. The theme for the week is Legacy and each housemate’s monologue will be titled “This is my legacy.”
Here is how Day 57 went down:
8:00 am – Keivo and Oyin get messy
After the morning workout at the swimming pool, the housemates move back into the house. Sheba washed the dishes, and Ricky tidied around the Main Lounge.
Keivo and Oyin had a back-and-forth, it got really heated. Oyin called insulted Keivo’s parents and Keivo also made jokes about one of Oyin’s parents.
Tram tried to quiet down the two, but they didn’t stop. Flora stood there quietly and watched her friends.
Tram checked his laundry and started cleaning the Garden. He told Ricky to vote for him for MIPOW.
Oyin went to the Garden and said Keivo is useless.
9:00 am – Keivo feels guilty?
Tram and Sheba checked their clothes in the washing line. Sheba went to work on her Wager script.
Keivo said to Aikou he will apologise to Oyin publicly and tell her that it was a joke. According to him, there are people who can't take his jokes, he realises that he went overboard.
Aikou went to Sheba and she told him about her concept for the Wager. Sheba explained she wrote everything yesterday, and Aikou and Keivo said that she's fast. They start talking about Chimsom Chuka being evicted and now that the house is empty. They continued to speak about the Wager, Aikou advised her.
Sheba told Keivo and Aikou that Keivo is a proud person. Aikou asked Keivo if he’s Christian and he said yes. Aikou asked him of someone cut his leg, would he cut the person too? He replied yes, he is a believer of Christ. Aikou asked which Christ, Christopher?
10:00 am – Celebrating birthdays
Ricky, Keivo, Tram and Aikou discussed the Wager.
Keivo and Ricky talked about how they made it to week nine and that their mental health is still good. Ricky said there was a time when he wanted to do a voluntary exit and Keivo said that was never an option for him. He added that he would love to celebrate his birthday in the house; it's next week Friday.
Sheba told Tram that this Wager is very serious for her. She had to summaried her experience in the house.
Tram talked about how he had enough time to be different in the house and he recovered from so much. He said all the housemates who said he’s being messy are now gone. He is happy he made it this far.
11:00 am – Not winning in the Arena
Tram brought Sheba noodles and they spoke about how he’s 24 years old but he had to be a man. He said he wants to at least make 10 million naira a month; he wants to be successful.
Tram mentioned that in high school he was an athlete and said it hurt him when he didn't win in Arena tasks. He was happy when he started winning. They talk about how Chimsom Chuka knew all the games in the Arena.
Aikou reads through his script for the Wager.
12:00 pm – Temi Nkem cooks again
Tram worked on his script. Bluethopia warmed up her leftovers as Barry makes his eggs in the Kitchen.
In the Closet, Ricky was busy counting his BB Bucks.
Temi Nkem makes Barry taste her smoothie. Temi Nkem eats next to Bluethopia and said her smoothie is so nice.
Tram joined Temi Nkem and she said she likes that she is very creative in the house. Tram said his scared to try Temi Nkem’s smoothie.
According to him, Temi Nkem is the Gambit, because she is more chilled.
Barry went to work on his script for the Wager.
Tram told Temi Nkem of how he saw through Yusuf.
1:00 pm – Tram compliments Barry
Oyin unbraided her hair. Ricky and Barry worked on their scripts.
Sheba told Bluethopia and Flora that they slept the whole day. Sheba asked Bluethopia to come do her hair in the Garden.
In the Main Lounge, Sheba is with Barry and Tram. She spoke to Barry about the BB Bucks he got from Chimsom Chuka for Bluethopia's birthday. Tram is interested in what gift Barry will get Bluethopia.
Tram said he likes Barry because his real and open to learning. Tram added that he’s not scared to be who he is, and he’s down to earth.
He also talked about how he likes Abi but she was always ready to fight him.
Temi Nkem said she hopes the HoH reign is about luck not strength. Bluethopia said she hopes she gets a cake during the day before eviction show.
2:00 pm – More relaxation
Aikou, Flora and Tram individually work on their scripts.
Barry, Bluethopia, Sheba and Temi Nkem are hanging out. Barry is sleeping on Bluethopia. Bluethopia mentioned that she wants to name her kids weird names, like Shy, Moon and so on. Temi Nkem said no English names.
Oyin and Flora talked about what they want to eat. The discussion goes to what hair fibre they have. Flora started combing Oyin’s hair.
Temi Nkem was singing and dancing for Barry.
Barry and Keivo played pool.
The housemates got ready for the Head of House (HoH) Challenge in the Arena.
3:00 pm – The HoH Challenge starts
Biggie announced that it's time to move to the Arena for the HoH Challenge.
The housemates will face a four-game course. The points will be added to determine their final score. The housemate with the highest score will be crowned the HoH. Ultimate Veto Power Holder Barry will sit out this week's games. Temi Nkem is the first one to complete the games; the rest of the housemates went out of the Arena while she is busy.
4:00 pm – HoH games continue
The HoH Games continued with Aikou stepping up as the second housemate to play. Game 4 proved tricky as he struggled to keep his blocks standing, forcing him to rebuild more than once after they came tumbling down. Bluethopia played next, followed by Ricky.
5:00 pm – More housemates take their turn
The HoH Games remained in full swing as Oyin, Keivo, Sheba and Tram took their turns.
6:00 pm – Keivo wins HoH
Flora was the final housemate to play before the results were announced.
After finishing as runner up last week, Keivo went one better this time and claimed the HoH crown. He picked Aikou as his Loft mate, while Oyin became the Benchwarmer.
Back in the house, Keivo called everyone to the lounge and asked the housemates to support one another. He also addressed this morning’s issue with Oyin, saying some jokes may not land the same way with everyone, before apologising to her.
Barry congratulated Keivo, who jokingly said he did well by letting Barry win the previous week. Bluethopia and Temi Nkem also congratulated the new HoH with hugs.
Flora later hyped Oyin as “the sexiest Benchwarmer” while Oyin playfully hit the bench with a water bottle. The pair laughed before heading into the kitchen.
7:00 pm – Barry’s Ultimate Veto changes everything
It’s time for Live Nominations. HoH Keivo has immunity for the week but no power to influence nominations. That responsibility belongs to Ultimate Veto Power Holder Barry, who is handed an envelope and called into the diary room. Inside, Barry finds two options: Immunity For All or Immunity For None, which would strip every housemate, including the HoH, of immunity.
After asking Biggie for clarity, Barry chooses Immunity For All and confirms his decision. Biggie instructs him to keep it completely secret, warning that any hint to the other housemates would cost him his own immunity.
Biggie later announces that nominations are complete and tells the housemates their fate will be revealed on Sunday. The mood turns tense, with Temi Nkem saying the uncertainty is giving them anxiety. Tram admits he would rather know his fate immediately but says he will take things as they come.
Biggie then asks the housemates to watch the screen, where they receive heartfelt messages from their loved ones back home.
8:00 pm – Housemates still emotional after receiving messages from home
Oyin remains emotional after seeing her father in the video messages. Sitting with Flora, she says she is happy to see him and has never been away from him for this long.
Barry finds Bluethopia still emotional on the couch and encourages her. Keivo joins them, teasing her lightly before also offering some encouragement.
Biggie later sends treats into the house. HoH Keivo collects them from the Store Room, while Ricky and Tram help bring out the food supplies.
9:00 pm – MIPOW campaigns in full swing
Bluethopia, Barry, Keivo and Aikou sit around the lounge table chatting while Barry eats. Tram later joins them.
Bluethopia declares that she wants to win MIPOW this week. When Oyin calls from the kitchen for people to wash their plates, Bluethopia volunteers, saying that she needs the points for MIPOW.
Keivo later gathers the housemates for a brief wager discussion. He describes the week as relatively straightforward and notes that Bluethopia, Tram and Temi Nkem have expressed interest in leading the presentation.
He suggests they work with housemates who are strong writers, while Barry proposes asking Biggie for access to their entry videos to incorporate into the presentation.
Temi Nkem then announces that everyone should leave the chores to her this week because she also wants MIPOW.
The housemates discuss how the award has played out so far, with Sheba pointing out that some people may have deserved it more than once but were ineligible to win in consecutive weeks.
Later, Sheba speculates with Bluethopia and Flora about what may have happened when Barry entered the diary room, wondering whether he removed anyone from the nomination list. She also brings up the Gambit twist.
Tram interrupts to ask what Sheba plans to do for the wager. She says she is preparing a monologue and jokes that she is channeling her inner Chuka.
10:00 pm – Housemates try to decode the nominations
Tram chats with Ricky in the closet area about MIPOW and reflects on how he ran things during his HoH reign. He counts the housemates who have already won MIPOW and those who are still eligible, noting that he believes he has support from three of the six.
In the kitchen, Flora and Oyin continue discussing the game while Oyin cooks.
Tram admits that although he likes Barry, he does not fully trust him. Oyin says she feels the same way about Keivo.
The housemates speculate that only six people may be up for eviction, factoring in Barry, Keivo and the Gambit situation.
Tram reassures them that they are strong and should not worry too much, saying they only have a few more days before finding out their fate. Flora says the waiting is the hardest part.
They agree that the potential finalist lineup is strong.
Tram then asks Flora if she is the Gambit. Flora stays silent.
11:00 pm – Keivo jokes about sending housemates home
Bluethopia, Keivo and Sheba are chatting in the bedroom when Temi Nkem joins them. Bluethopia shows the group a picture of her younger self before the conversation shifts to what Keivo would do if he had the power to send housemates home.
Keivo plays along, teasing the women and calling them out one by one.
Later in the garden, Flora, Oyin and Tram catch up as Tram revisits what caused his fallout with Nomy.
