Ebuka came, asked the uncomfortable questions and left the housemates to deal with the fallout. From putting Bells and Yusuf’s relationship under the spotlight to exposing cracks in other connections, Sunday night left plenty to unpack.
With Cassi gone and a new week underway, the housemates are already questioning friendships, relationships and each other’s intentions. Here is how Day 29 is unfolding.
8:00 am: Yusuf questions Sheba as Bells revisits Ebuka’s question
After their morning swimming session, Araga, Gerard and Yusuf discussed some of the patterns they have noticed in the house.
The conversation turned to Sheba, with Yusuf admitting that he does not trust her and describing her as a "snake." Gerard reminded them that they are playing a game and that even friendly interactions can be strategic.
Yusuf then spoke about his growing connection with Bells. He recalled telling Aikou that relationships are not a straight line, noting that Bells was simply his friend last week but has now become more than that. He confidently added that he could make any woman fall for him.
They also revisited Ebuka’s question to Bells about their relationship during the live show. Yusuf felt Bells struggled to answer, while Araga agreed that she appeared unsettled. Yusuf, however, admitted that he likes Bells and cannot deny it.
Upstairs, Bells discussed the same moment with Bluethopia. She compared her situation with Yusuf to Goddessa and Araga’s late-night moments, explaining that because she and Yusuf were always under the duvet and she was prepared to deny anything had happened.
9:00 am: Goddessa asks Araga for a break
Araga and Goddessa had a tense conversation in the bedroom, with Goddessa saying there had been too many misunderstandings between them.
She told Araga that she feels he does not believe what she says and suggested they take a break. Araga resisted the idea, insisting that she was misunderstanding what he had previously said.
Goddessa questioned why he seemed afraid of taking space, while Araga maintained that she was only hearing the parts of his words that supported her interpretation.
Temi Nkem and Barry discussed sleeping arrangements now that Barry’s time in the Loft had ended. Barry mentioned wanting to sleep on Neche’s former bed because he wanted to remain close to the memory of her.
Temi Nkem teased him about Goddessa, pointing out that he finds her attractive and suggesting he sleep in her bed instead. Barry refused.
Meanwhile, Ricky pulled Sheba aside to ask why she had become distant. Sheba said she was simply minding her business and made it clear that she did not consider them enemies.
Ricky admitted that he enjoys talking to her but remains confused about what their connection means, especially because Sheba says she has someone outside the house.
Sheba, however, appeared unconvinced by his explanation and wished him well in his "endeavours."
10:00 am: Sheba calls Ricky out over his age comment
Ricky and Sheba’s conversation continued, with Sheba finally revealing one of the things that had upset her: a comment Ricky made about her age. She described the remark as insensitive.
Abi briefly interrupted the conversation to discuss costumes for the wager task, but Ricky soon returned to trying to explain himself.
He told Sheba that he felt comfortable talking to her from the moment they met and praised her for not overthinking things. Sheba responded sarcastically, suggesting he try speaking to one of the 23-year-olds in the house instead.
Ricky continued, telling her she was beautiful, but Sheba appeared ready to end the conversation.
When Ricky mentioned things Goddessa had told him about herself, Araga and Sheba, Sheba said she was not interested. She also pointed out that Ricky likely would have kissed Goddessa if she had leaned in during their previous interaction.
Ricky did not deny it. Sheba eventually told him she wanted to rest, bringing the conversation to an end.
In the garden, Goddessa gathered some of the housemates’ name tags and cleaned them.
11:00 am: Tram regrets the Temi Nkem kiss
Sultex and Goddessa asked Bluethopia about her connection with Chimsom Chuka. She admitted that if anything were to happen between them, she would rather explore it outside the house because there is too much pressure inside.
In the closet area upstairs, Tram opened up to Flora about Temi Nkem. He said he had told his partner before entering the house that any interaction with someone else would stop at flirting.
He admitted that his kiss with Temi Nkem happened three times and later left him feeling guilty. According to Tram, the teasing from Flora and Oyin only made him feel worse because he knew he had crossed a line.
He said he had bottled up those feelings until the Saturday night link-up, when everything became too much and he briefly considered leaving the house to make things right with his partner.
Tram described what happened with Temi Nkem as having no real foundation, comparing it to a one-night stand.
12:00 pm: Araga tries to make peace with Goddessa
Abi gathered the housemates to begin planning for the wager. Yusuf, Sheba, Chimsom Chuka and Gerard were suggested for the writing team, while Barry and Araga were put forward for music.
In the garden, Araga checked in with Goddessa and said he hoped they were okay. He admitted that he did not want to miss her and even said he had briefly thought she was beside him during a nap.
Goddessa appeared unimpressed throughout the conversation. After a long awkward silence, Araga asked her for a hug. She agreed, but the tension between them remained obvious.
1:00 pm: Temi Nkem advises Abi to set boundaries
In the garden, Abi opened up about the tension she has noticed from Nomy since their disagreement while preparing fish in the kitchen.
Temi Nkem described their friendship as give and take, but added that Abi may be allowing people to take advantage of her. She advised Abi to set clearer boundaries and stand up for herself.
The conversation then shifted to Tram. When Abi asked why Temi Nkem chose him, she replied that he was "easy," describing their connection as spontaneous, fun and nothing serious.
2:00 pm: The Head of House Challenge begins
The housemates headed into the arena for the Head of House challenge, battling through the first round for a chance to move closer to the coveted title.
3:00 pm: The HoH challenge continues
Sultex, Sheba, Gerard, Bells, Barry, Bluethopia, Chimsom Chuka and Yusuf advanced to the second round.
The next game, titled “Roundabout”, will see them race through the course, with only the four fastest housemates moving on to the next stage. After playing the second round, Sheba, Gerard, Chimsom Chuka and Barry moves to the next round. Bells was discontinued from playing the second round because she whispered to Yusuf how he should carry the balloon balls.
4:00 pm: Chimsom Chuka wins Head of House again
Chimsom Chuka and Gerard made it to the final round but Chimsom Chuka secures the Head of House title for the second time this season, earning another week of immunity and power in Biggie’s house.
