Last week, Nigerian Idol was a delight and this week, the Idols are going harder with the promise of a thrilling episode. This is especially exciting because you, the viewers, chose the songs they are to perform this coming Sunday. So, take a look below at the song choice you selected for your faves.

Goodness: ‘Chandelier’ by Sia
For Goodness, the final consensus from y’all is that she performs ‘Chandelier’ by Sia. Written by Jesse Shatkin and Sia, ‘Chandelier’ was released as part of Sia’s sixth studio album, 1000 Forms of Fear. The album came out in 2014. The hit song ‘Chandelier’ topped the charts in countries such as Poland, the United States, Norway and Australia.

Ose Daniel: ‘Beautiful People’ by Chike
‘Beautiful People’ by Chike will be Ose Daniel’s song to perform this Sunday, thanks to the choice of the viewers. The song was first released as a single in 2018 and then formed part of Chike’s 2020 album Boo of The Booless. The album is a 14-track album that includes alternative pop, R&B, afro-pop and highlife tracks. 

Precious Mac: ‘Diamonds’ by Rihanna
As per your choice Nigeria, Precious Mac will be singing ‘Diamonds’ by Rihanna. Written by Sia, Benny Blanco and Stargate, the song was released on 26 September 2012 as the lead single of Rihanna’s seventh studio album, Unapologetic. ‘Diamonds’ became Rihanna’s 12th number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped the charts in 19 other countries across the globe.

Quest: ‘Hello’ by Adele
Thanks to y’all, Quest will perform Adele’s ‘Hello’ to the delight of all on Sunday. Written by Adele and Greg Kurstin, the song was released on 23 October 2015 as the lead single to Adele’s third studio album, 25. The song was a massive success, topping the charts of 36 countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom. 

Victory: Happy by Pharrell Williams
From the results of the Viewers’ Choice, Victory will perform Pharrell Williams’ hit single, ‘Happy’. The song was written by Williams and released as the only single from the soundtrack album for the movie Despicable Me 2. 'Happy' became the best-selling song of 2014 in the United States, and topped the charts in 19 other countries such as Canada and Ireland.
