Let's admire the spectacle displayed by All Stars Adekunle, Ceec, Cross, Ilebaye, Pere, and Mercy Eke as they proudly represent Nigerian culture with outfits that embrace their traditional roots.

The Big Brother Naija All Stars celebrated Nigeria today with a display of vibrant attire and tales that highlight the beauty of the country's varied cultures, but we have since learned that they are also passionate about honouring their roots outside the Big Brother house with a display of colourful cultural fashion that reflects their pride and appreciation for their heritage. From the exotic-looking tye and dye wear and intricate beadwork to bold head wraps and amazing traditional accessories, the Top 6 housemates have shown us that embracing one's cultural identity is a powerful way to celebrate diversity and unity in Nigeria. Their social media profiles are filled with stunning images that not only showcase their fashion choices but also serve as a reminder of the rich cultural tapestry that makes up this beautiful nation. 

 

Adekunle

Adekunle rocks a beautiful loose-fitting robe known in the Yoruba language as Agbada, made out of intricately designed batik known in Yoruba as Adire. He pairs his Agbada with a traditional Yoruba cap called a fila, completing his look with intricate beadwork and accessories that pay homage to his heritage. 

 

Ceec

Ceec rocks a typical Igbo attire that involves elaborate headwear called a gele, a bejeweld blouse, and wrapper made from vibrant and colourful fabric typically called 'George'. She completes her look with traditional Igbo jewellery, such as coral beads, showcasing the rich cultural roots of the Igbo people. 

 

Cross

Cross brings the rich northern Nigerian culture to life in his beautiful outfit called the Babariga. The Babariga is a flowing gown made from luxurious fabric, often embellished with intricate embroidery and patterns. Cross pairs his Babariga with a turban typically worn on special occasions, adding a touch of elegance to his ensemble. 

 

Ilebaye

The Gen Z baddie is dressed in a contemporary native Nigerian dress, which is a common choice for young Nigerians to show off their fashion sense and cultural pride. Ilebaye's gown is made of Ankara, one of the most popular fabrics in Nigeria, known for its vibrant and bold patterns. 

 

Pere

Pere rocks a contemporary native Nigerian attire that shows the evolution of fashion in Nigeria. His outfit is a fusion of traditional and modern elements, with a tailored shirt and trousers made from cashmere fabrics that give it a luxurious and sophisticated touch. 

 

Mercy Eke
