In Africa Magic Showcase's The Theory of Breakfast, Manny is Ebitimi's well-put-together cousin who seems to do no wrong, especially in his relationship with Laolu's best friend, Vodka, who appears to be the most problematic one among the duo; however, Manny has a 3-year-old secret, a whole daughter!
Vodka discovers the truth
While Ebitimi consistently pushed for Manny to tell Vodka about his daughter, Manny was hesitant because of his turpsy-turvy relationship with Vodka. Vodka also struggles with jealousy and intense trust issues and will most likely create a scene once she learns about another woman in the picture. Remember that scene with Becky? Vodka is always ready to throw hands! 😭
Due to the sensitivity of the issue, Manny chose to keep it to himself even when his child came to visit him in Lagos, and Vodka met her at Ebitimi's traditional wedding; at that moment, Manny lied that she was his niece and even got his beloved Vodka to babysit as he had to deal with the endless drama at Ebitimi's party.
Like a good sport, Vodka took on the challenge of caring for his niece. As the drama at the party intensified, she wandered off to find out what was transpiring, leaving Manny's child unattended and eventually lost! The panic triggered Manny, forcing him to spazz out at Vodka and, in the heat of the moment, reveal that the child was his.
A startled Vodka couldn't find her words, and when she did, things went south as Manny turned on her and resorted to blaming her for his child's disappearance. Although Vodka eventually finds Manny's daughter, do you think their relationship will survive this phase, or will this be the deal breaker?
