Like two peas in a pod, Laolu and Ebitimi have similar issues in their love lives, but this time, Laolu has two men secretly in love with her: Ebitemi and his father, Chief Atakhere.
Chief Atakhere professes his love
While unaware of his son, Ebitimi, and Laolu's history, Chief Atakhere waltzed into Laolu's life as a mentor. Their friendship had grown since Ebitimi's father loaned her money as seed capital to start her thriving flower and events planning business. To Laolu, he was an investor and, most importantly, her best friend Ebitimi's father; however, since Chief Atakhere had a tough time coming to terms with the fact that his wife, Dior, who suggested an open marriage had fallen out of love with him and preferred to spend time with her other lovers. Chief Atakhere yearned for a romantic relationship, but this time not with his wife, whom he was trying to divorce, but with Laolu.
On hearing about Chief Atakhere's feelings, Laolu was shocked and somewhat devasted as she had not yet come to terms with the heartbreak she was nursing following Ebitimi and Lami's proposal. Even worse, Laolu has to plan their wedding, and Ebitimi's father now has eyes for her.
Love doesn't always manifest in the best ways, but with Vodka, Laolu's crazy best friend, by her side, they'll be able to navigate these tricky waters the best way they know how.
