This week we feature a stage play adapted from Western Nigeria’s Bode Asiyanbi called Shattered. It features veteran actor Jide Kosoko as well as actress and singer Tomi Odunsi among others. The play examines a series of events that occurred after a rape incident. Encouraging the community and victims of sexual assault to break the silence.

This week we attended a movie premier about love and revenge.

Its produced by veteran actress Funmi Holder and is titled Grudge, offering a star studded cast such as the likes of Ireti Doyle and Odunlade Adekola.

Our top 5 countdown looks at indigenous female producers of 2016 such as Jumoke Odetola, Toyin Aihmakhu, Iyabo Ojo, Mercy Aigbe, fathia Balogun.

In spirit of the AMVCA 2017, we hang out with AMVCA recipient, actress, producer as well as director Fathia Balogun Williams.

She has a charming sit down with the bubbly Helen and break down movie production, the intricasies of love as well as family.
