It feels like just yesterday when we were waving 2015 goodbye! At least this evening on Jara we have your entertainment needs covered as we take a look at what you can look forward to in the new year. Firstly we kick things off by attending the star studded premiere of 'Road to Yesterday'. Starring and co-produced by Genevieve Nnaji, the film also features Oris Erhuero, Majid Michele, Chigul and amongst others.
Then as always we check out the Top 5 Movies to Watch in 2016 before attending the stage play Ewuro (Meaning Bitter leaf). The tale narrates how women triumph over bitter situations and stars acts like Bimbo Akintola, Waje and Yaw.
Later on Jara we speak with top industry players about their hopes and dreams for Nollywood this year.
Then lastly our guest is Richard Mofe Damijo, popularly known as RMD, a Nigerian actor and politician. He has won the African Movie Academy Award and was the former Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Delta State, Nigeria. Back in the late 80's he landed his first role in a television soap opera called Ripples.
