After a colourful and entertaining tribute to Fela Kuti in the previous Live show, the Top 7 will be switching things up this time around. Instead of the usual one-song performance, each contestant will be performing two songs from the Pop and Jazz genres. Therefore, the thrill level this Sunday will be doubled. Think of it as a two-for-one deal.

‘I Put A Spell On You’ by Nina Simone and ‘Wrecking Ball’ by Miley Cyrus

In addition to singing the classic ‘I Put a Spell On You' from Nina Simone's 1965 album, Akunna takes on Miley Cyrus' first Billboard Hot 100 number one song 'Wrecking Ball', taken from her album Bangerz released in 2013. Akunna's exploits on stage have been impressive over the past few weeks, and on Sunday, we're eagerly anticipating her renditions of these two hits.

Comfort

‘Save The Last Dance’ by Michael Bublé and ‘Thinking Out Loud’ by Ed Sheeran

Comfort performs ‘Save The Last Dance for Me’ by Michael Bublé from his album, It’s Time released in 2005 and ‘Thinking Out Loud’ by Ed Sheeran from his album, ‘X’ released in 2014. It will be interesting to see how she delivers these performances and what additional spin she adds.

Emmanuel

‘Sway’ by Michael Bublé and ‘Someone Like You’ by Adele

After delivering a much talked about performance, Emmanuel takes on another Michael Bublé’s classic, ‘Sway’ from his self-titled album released in 2003 and Adele's first number-one single in the UK, ‘Someone like You’ from her second studio album, 21 released in 2011. Can Emmanuel give these two chart-topping tracks the cover they deserve this Sunday? We'll find out in due course.

Faith

‘I'd Rather Go Blind’ by Etta James and ‘Someone You Loved’ by Lewis Capaldi 

Once again, Faith has another shot at knocking another set of performances out of the park. This time, it’s ‘I'd Rather Go Blind’ by Etta James released in 1968 from the album ‘Tell Mama’ and ‘Someone You Loved’ by Lewis Capaldi from his 2019 ‘Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent’. As Sunday approaches, we'll see how Francis does with his shot.

‘Hello’ by Lionel Richie and ‘Too Good at Goodbyes’ by Sam Smith

With his mind set on delivering phenomenal performances, Francis will be taking on the classic ‘Hello’ by Lionel Richie from his 1983 album, Can’t Slow Down and ‘Too Good at Goodbyes’ by Sam Smith from his 2017 album, ‘The Thrill of it All’. Is he capable of delivering another exceptional performance? Ultimately, only time will tell.

Kingdom

‘Feeling Good’ by Nina Simone and ‘Just the Way You Are’ by Bruno Mars

After his amazing rendition of Toni Braxton’s ‘Unbreak my Heart’, Kingdom’s next challenge is taking on Nina Simone’s ‘Feeling Good’ from her 1965 Album, ‘I Put a Spell on You’ and ‘Just the Way You Are’ by Bruno Mars. Kingdom has never backed down from a challenge, so we will see how he will handle these challenges next Sunday.
