While they have a son together, Dior and Chief Atakhere have been having marital issues behind closed doors. Their marriage hit the rocks when Dior requested they open their marriage to keep the spark alive. Keen to save his marriage, Chief Atakhere hastily agreed to her terms; however, Dior's selfish request primarily benefitted her as she chose to run off to be with her lover, Gbolahan, for two years, leaving Chief Atakhere lonely and brokenhearted. Unsurprisingly, he pushed for a divorce when she decided to return out of the blue!
Dior, however, refused to sign the divorce papers several times as she was unprepared to come to terms with her actions and new reality. Chief Atakhere maintained his calm stance until Dior pushed him to react when she invited Gbolahan to their son, Ebitimi's introduction ceremony.
Ebitimi finds out about their imperfect marriage
The duo engaged in a war of words. Chief Atakhere vehemently pushed while Dior opposed, and as things got heated, Ebitimi walked in and was startled to hear that his loving parents were going their separate ways. Upon hearing the news, Ebitimi broke down and found solace in the arms of the woman he should be avoiding following the proposal saga, Laolu.
