The Housemates had been conceptualizing their radio play for their meningitis sensitization campaign when they received a Brief to prepare to receive a guest, Mr Eyo Bassey, the CEO of the online shopping portal and sponsor of BBNaija 2017, Payporte.
The Housemates couldn’t contain their joy at his visit and after a short tour around the House; they all sat down around the dining table where Mr Bassey chatted with them about life in the business sector. He encouraged them to be more aggressive in chasing their dreams, not to be afraid of investing in themselves as well as the benefits of being an entrepreneur.
The core of his discussions to them was the need for entrepreneurs to focus on the core of their business and being disciplined in the execution of their business strategies. He also advised the Housemates that being in control of their business was key to surviving in the business world as this will guarantee revenue generation and longevity of the business.
The Housemates sat attentively listening to Mr Bassey, constantly asking questions which he was more than happy to answer. The Housemates lost all track of time as they sat and listened in awe to the sound business advices being dished out by the dashing CEO of Payporte. As the buzzer sounded signalling the end of the CEO’s visit, he quickly offered a toast to the successes of their future endeavours as he said his goodbyes before he exited the House.
The visit of Mr Eyo Bassey has truly been informative, not just to the Housemates but to all entrepreneurs watching at home.
