A new day brings new conversations and fresh plans in Biggie’s house. As the housemates settle into another week of tasks, wager preparations and life under the same roof, Sheba has an idea she believes could bring everyone closer: cooking together as one house. But with different opinions already emerging, will her “one house” vision become a reality?
Here’s how day 50 is going so far.
8:00 am: Tram wants nothing but immunity
Fresh from their swimming exercises, the housemates return to the house and get ready for the day. Some head upstairs to the closet area to freshen up and change, while Ricky and Sheba settle into the kitchen. Barry gets to work sweeping the closet area as Tram tidies up the lounge.
Meanwhile, Bells sits at the table while Tram was cleaning. He tells Bells he just wants immunity this week. He admits that he is over the other responsibilities that come with being HoH, including organising the housemates for chores and tasks.
9:00 am: Aikou and Keivo get real about relationships
Aikou and Keivo settle into a heart-to-heart in the kitchen while Aikou gets some cleaning done.
Aikou explains that when he entered the house, one of his goals was to test his will while also trying to win the grand prize. The conversation turns to relationships, with Keivo opening up about his last relationship and describing it as the best relationship he has had.
Aikou points out that Keivo sounds like someone who could potentially go back to his ex, but Keivo quickly asks him not to say too much, explaining that she had asked him not to share too many details about their relationship.
Later in the kitchen, Oyin and Sheba discuss the idea of cooking as one house. Sheba suggests that everyone should cook together and that they should have a meeting to establish a “one house” approach. Oyin raises some concerns about the idea before the conversation moves to the food the Ninjas took from them the previous day.
Biggie then plays some music into the house, giving the housemates a little break from their conversations.
10:00 am: Ricky and Sheba focus on the wager
Ricky and Sheba chat on the kitchen couch about this week's wager task.
Ricky suggests that they first identify the key points they need to cover, which will help them build a stronger presentation around them. Sheba acknowledges that Ricky has a lot on his shoulders, but he remains hopeful that he and Yusuf will be able to pull things together.
Sheba also reminds him that Biggie has been impressed by some of their previous wager presentations, stressing that they need to rediscover the energy that helped them secure those wins.
In the garden, Oyin picks up the rule book and starts reading. Barry spots her and jokingly asks if she is planning to break the rules now that she is studying them. Oyin responded that she always breaks rules.
11:00 am: Travel plans and life after Biggie’s house
After combing her hair, Temi Nkem tells Chimsom Chuka that the housemates have broken her dad's box. The conversation then shifts to the places she visited before entering Biggie's house and where she would like to travel after the show.
Temi Nkem says she would love to visit Abuja and other destinations once her BBNaija journey is over. When Chimsom Chuka asks who she would travel with, she names Keivo and Sheba.
Chimsom Chuka also shares his excitement about travelling after the show.
Later, Barry and Chimsom Chuka discuss their relationship with social media. Barry recalls how he thought he would go mad without his phone during the BBNaija lockdown, while Chimsom Chuka is surprised by how many hours people can spend online.
He reflects on how excessive social media use can contribute to a shorter attention span.
12:00 pm: Barry and Temi Nkem clash over the “traditional woman” debate
Barry and Temi Nkem get into a tense conversation over what Barry describes as a “traditional woman.” Using Sheba as an example, Barry says a traditional woman should be able to cook, take care of her man and be soft-spoken, among other qualities.
Temi Nkem quickly points out that she can cook too, joking that she can even make custard. Bluethopia, who is also part of the conversation, asks Barry whether he considers her a traditional woman.
Temi Nkem then asks what kind of woman Barry thinks she is, and he describes her as a “city girl,” explaining that a city babe wants to have fun.
The conversation takes a turn when Temi Nkem asks Barry to explain exactly what he means by a “city girl.” Clearly frustrated, Barry gets up and walks towards the bedroom, calling Temi Nkem childish and stupid.
Temi Nkem follows him into the Blue Room, where she finds him lying on the bed. She tries to continue the conversation, but Barry says he doesn't want to talk.
Temi Nkem explains that she was only joking when she made the comments that upset him and tells him that he was rude to her. Barry eventually apologises, and after Temi Nkem asks for a hug, the two make up.
The housemates receive a new task titled “Who in Wonderland Are You?”, with Tram reading the brief to the rest of the House.
It's time to find out just how well the housemates can bring the inhabitants of Wonderland to life. The Lucky Dip box will make its way around the house, with each housemate picking a Wonderland character or archetype.
They will have 30 minutes to decide how they want to interpret their character. But there's a catch: once they pick, they must remain in character throughout the day.
From the way they speak and behave to how they interact with fellow housemates and respond to different situations, everything must reflect the character they've chosen.
1:00 pm: Wonderland comes alive as housemates transform into their characters
The housemates get into costume and prepare to bring their Wonderland characters to life as the “Who in Wonderland Are You?” presentations begin, with Aikou taking the stage first.
Aikou makes a dramatic entrance, launching into a dialogue between his character and Alice. Just when the housemates think his performance is over, he steps outside, only to return and continue the dialogue before disappearing outside again.
Sheba jokes that if Aikou comes back inside one more time, she'll be dizzy, sending the housemates into laughter.
After his performance, Tram asks the Housemates who they think Aikou is. Sheba and Bells confidently shout “The Cheshire Cat!”
Keivo is next, kicking off his performance while on the phone. He launches into a random story, occasionally running off and returning as he continues the act. The housemates eventually guess that he's playing the White Rabbit.
Bells takes her turn next, beginning her performance by sleeping on the floor. Afterward, Temi Nkem asks her to reveal her character, and Bells says she's the Dormouse.
Sheba's performance transports the housemates to a village scene, where she plays a woman washing clothes. The housemates guess that she's the Cook, but Sheba reveals that her actual character is the Knave of Hearts.
Barry rounds off the performances, leaving the housemates in stitches with his interpretation. Their guess? Alice.
2:00 pm: The traditional woman debate returns
With the Wonderland presentations wrapped up, HoH Tram checks in with Ricky about the progress of the wager script.
The “traditional woman vs city girl” debate makes an unexpected return. This time, Temi Nkem takes the conversation to Bluethopia, Chimsom Chuka and Keivo, with the group weighing in on what defines a traditional woman and backing up their opinions with biblical references.
In the kitchen, Ricky, Sheba and Yusuf discuss relationships, with respect taking centre stage. Ricky claims he's finally figured out what women want, while Bells, who is cooking, occasionally joins the conversation.
Sheba shares her perspective on love, describing it as an action rather than just a feeling.
In the garden, Flora and Oyin turn their attention to Keivo, teasing him about how much they feel he has changed since the early weeks in the House.
Oyin recalls seeing Keivo and Temi Nkem having an intense “chest-to-chest” conversation where they were practically breathing each other's air. Keivo laughs at Flora’s enactment of the scene before moving away from the conversation.
3:00 pm: Chimsom Chuka shares his thoughts on consent as HoH games begin
In a conversation with Ricky, Sheba and Yusuf, Chimsom Chuka talks about the importance of asking a woman if she's comfortable with being kissed rather than simply making a move and kissing her. the Afterwards, at the dining table, Chimsom Chuka, Keivo, Ricky and Yusuf discuss ideas for their upcoming wager presentation and work on developing the script.
Later, Biggie instructs the Housemates to make their way to the arena for the HoH Games.
Once in the Arena, Biggie explains the rules and mechanics of the game, with the housemates asking questions to clarify the challenge.
Tram is the first housemate to take on the game, followed by Bells, Yusuf, Bluethopia, Barry and Sheba.
