Joining Simi on Biggie's stage is Nigerian hip hop imresario, Timaya. He is the founder of South South hip hop group Dem Mama Soldiers. His solo career began in 2005 with the release of "Dem Mama", which also appeared on his debut album, "True Story" released the following year. His second album Gift and Grace was released in 2008.
It was his third album "De Rebirth"Â that gained him even more prominence and the song "Plantain Boy" was very successful. After that he went back to his roots and collaborated on Dem Mama Soldiers on the album "LLNP (Long Life n Prosperity.)Â In 2012, Timaya released "Upgrade", which spawned hits "Bum Bum", "Sexy Ladies", and "Malonogede."
He has been nominated for and won many awards and is sure to satisy your thirst for a good solid party. He has collaborated with artists such as 2Face Idibia, TJ 2Solo, Allenian, Konga and Lanre. With his career going from strength to strength, he is sure to have the fans jumping in their seats at this Sunday's Live Eviction Show.
