Day 26 Live Updates: Sheba, Goddessa and Temi Nkem plot a shoe prank on Keivo – BBNaija

News21 August 2026
The wager win is secured, but there is no time for peace as food complaints, whispered plots and a plan to hide Keivo’s shoes take over the morning.

Peace is proving difficult to find in the Show Ya Sef house. With the wager behind them, the housemates are already back to gameplay, complaints and a little mischief.

While Team Chao Artic celebrated their wager victory, conversations quickly shifted to food sharing, the previous night’s chaos and a secret plan involving Keivo’s shoes.

Here is how Day 26 is unfolding.

8:00 am: Wager reflections and chicken complaints

Fresh from their yoga session, the housemates got to work cleaning the house.

Keivo and Sheba revisited the chaos from the previous night, when Keivo kept the house awake with his trumpet. Sheba joked that sleeping in the house is a matter of mindset, adding that if she can sleep in church, she can sleep through almost anything.

The conversation moved to their wager win, with both housemates reflecting on how the presentation came together. They praised Aikou for playing a major role in the team’s performance and also analysed where the other team may have fallen short.

Flora and Oyin spoke quietly in the kitchen, looking suspiciously like another plan might be brewing.

Goddessa later joined Sheba to complain about how chicken was being shared in the house. She was unhappy that some housemates were taking entire packs instead of dividing them fairly.

9:00 am: The girls plot to hide Keivo’s shoes

Sheba and Temi Nkem began plotting a prank on Keivo: take his shoes and hide them.

Temi Nkem worried that the plan could backfire if Keivo discovered the shoes in someone’s box, but Sheba suggested they could simply blame it on the general chaos in the house.

They brought Goddessa into the plan, quickly changing the subject whenever another housemate walked past. Once the coast was clear, Sheba explained the prank and the trio celebrated the idea with laughs and a high-five.

Temi Nkem then wondered whether she should check her own suitcase in case someone was planning a similar trick on her. Goddessa summed up their plan with two words: “tit for tat.”

The girls soon moved from plotting to action. Sheba and Goddessa searched the closet area for Keivo’s suitcase while Temi Nkem kept watch.

Their search also raised another concern, as Sheba recalled Yusuf saying he suspected someone had already gone through his suitcase.

The housemates received a brief asking each person to submit three anonymous questions about their fellow housemates. The questions could be funny, revealing, cheeky or uncomfortable, covering friendships, relationships, strategy or personality.

Examples included who someone might be pretending to like, which friendship feels fake, who cannot be trusted outside the house or who may be using another housemate for strategy. Each housemate had to write their name at the top, fold the paper and place it in the box without revealing which questions were theirs.

10:00 am: Ricky reveal he’s married after Sheba questions his game

After Sheba rejected Ricky’s attempt to kiss her the previous night, the pair had a conversation in the garden about his intentions.

Sheba told Ricky she did not want to become part of whatever game he was playing. Ricky admitted that he likes her, prompting Sheba to question whether that was simply what he had convinced himself to believe.

When Ricky asked what kind of game she thought he was playing, Sheba said she meant his overall strategy in the house.

Ricky then surprised her by showing her a ring and revealing that he is married. He said he had not planned to tell anyone, adding that only Abi knew before now.

According to Ricky, he usually tells people he is far from marriage, but his wife gave him permission to enjoy himself in the house as long as he does not take things too far.

A shocked Sheba described the revelation as “interesting” before asking whether he also has children.

11:00 am: Ricky insists his feelings for Sheba are genuine

Ricky and Sheba continued their conversation, with Ricky saying he does not want their situation to become like Araga and Goddessa’s. Sheba was not convinced, and the discussion quickly turned into another back and forth about his intentions.

Ricky eventually admitted that he wants Sheba and expressed frustration that people think he is simply playing a game. He insisted he is being honest and explained that he tends to form deep connections with women he is interested in.

Sheba pointed out that this may be the problem, saying he seems to be trying to build that kind of connection with almost everyone. When Ricky asked how many women she thought he had pursued in the house, Sheba replied, “Everybody except Flora and Oyin.”

Ricky maintained that his feelings for Sheba are real, adding that he respects her boundaries and does not expect anything to happen between them.

12:00 pm: Keivo suspects Temi Nkem or Tram took his shoes

Keivo’s missing shoes remained a hot topic as he told Oyin and Flora that he suspects either Temi Nkem or Tram may have hidden them. Oyin suggested he use his BB Bucks to buy a video clip and finally solve the mystery.

The conversation soon turned playful as Oyin and Flora laughed about the chaos Keivo caused with the trumpet the previous night. Flora teased him by singing “Love is wicked” and suggested he was still in love. Keivo quickly corrected her, saying it was not love, just “like.”

1:00 pm: Housemates reimagine Big Brother through art

In the spirit of Creative Chaos, the housemates received a new task titled ‘Imagining Big Brother.’

Each housemate must create an individual artwork showing how they personally imagine Big Brother, using either a drawing, painting or collage.

The housemates will work in two teams of ten, with each team getting one hour in the garden to complete their pieces. Although they will work in groups, every artwork must be created individually and clearly labelled with the housemate’s name.

There are no right or wrong interpretations. Big Brother could be imagined as a person, feeling, character, monster, friend, villain, voice or anything else. The only rule was for the housemates to use their imagination.

The buzzer sounded and the the first team entered the garden to get cracking.

2:00 pm: The first team brings Big Brother to life

The first team got to work on their individual artworks, reimagining Big Brother on canvas. From the creative to the unexpected, some of the interpretations were especially interesting.

3:00 pm: The second team takes over the garden

The buzzer sounded for the second team, who headed into the garden to begin their own artistic interpretations of Big Brother.

4:00 pm: Painting session is over
The second team, Team Chao Artic ( Sheba, Abi, Flora, Oyin, Aikou, Keivo, Ricky, Barry, and Yusuf), wrapped up their paintings in the garden, while Tram and Temi Nkem enjoyed a game of snooker.

5:00 pm: Prep for Arena games begins
Housemates received their jerseys for the games and were given time to get dressed and complete all necessary prep before Biggie called them into the Arena. This week’s BetPawa Friday Night Arena games has four challenges, and each housemate has 8 minutes to complete all the games. There are points to be won in each game, and the housemate with the most points across all activities will be crowned the winner tonight. Araga was first up, followed by Nomy, Cassi, and Flora.

6:00 pm: Friday Night Arena games still in session
Gerard, Bells, Oyin, Keivo, Abi, Sultex, and Sheba battled the games next, all bringing their A-game. Who is most likely to snag this win?

7:00 pm:  Cassi wins the Friday Night Arena games

Ricky, Temi Nkem, Chimsom Chuka, Bluethopia, Yusuf, Goddessa, Aikou, and Barry played the games, and then the results were announced. Chimsom Chuka emerged as the first runner-up, and Cassi was crowned the winner.

8:00 pm: Goddessa and Yusuf chat about Barry
The housemates returned to the house, and Goddessa and Yusuf had a chat about Barry, where she revealed she'd told him — since he's interested in her — that she's difficult to please, but given that they're stuck in Biggie's house together, things might turn out differently.

9:00 pm: It's anonymous hot seat time
HoH Abi received a brief from Biggie and read it to the housemates: they'd been tasked with playing a game called Anonymous Hot Seat, where each housemate answers three anonymous questions submitted earlier by their fellow housemates. Housemates were treated to snacks and drinks and required to follow the order of play provided by Big Brother. Abi went first and, interestingly, chose Cassi when asked who in the house she'd go on a date with. Aikou went next, followed by Araga, Barry, Bells, Bluethopia, Cassi, and Chimsom Chuka.

10:00 pm: Anonymous hot seat continues

The game rolled on, with Flora, Gerard, Keivo, Oyin, Ricky, and Sheba taking their turns in that order — followed by Sultex, Temi Nkem, Tram, Yusuf, Goddessa, Oyin, Ricky, Gerard, and Bells.

Answering a question Flora read, Aikou named Barry, Keivo, and Ricky as his top three favourite housemates, while Abi, Kamsy, and Bluethopia made his least-favourite list. Gerard revealed that if he could read one housemate's private thoughts about him, he'd choose Yusuf, Goddessa, or Araga. Yusuf was put on the spot over rumours that he and Bells had slept together — he denied it, saying "not yet." Sheba weighed in on whether her bond with Goddessa is genuine or strategic, insisting it's real, adding she sees a strong woman in Goddessa. Ricky didn't hold back either, naming Goddessa as secretly jealous of Neche. But the standout moment came from Sheba, who named Tram as the housemate she has the most chemistry with, jokingly suggesting they'd be inseparable if they were actually together.

11:00 pm: Aftermath of the hot seat game

The game's aftershocks rippled through the house. Keivo vented to Goddessa about Temi Nkem, revealing she'd kissed Tram right in front of him the night before, and admitted he feels her pulling further away with every passing day. He also clarified that despite his closeness with Nomy, she's the one he's least likely to stay connected with outside the house — that spot belongs to Aikou instead. He later told Ricky he'd been irritated by his energy heading into the wager, admitting he'd deliberately left him out of a task because he feared he'd drag the team down at the last minute.

Meanwhile, Ricky and Goddessa had a much juicier exchange. Ricky pressed her on whether she came into the house looking for a relationship, and whether she genuinely believes Araga likes her — Goddessa insisted she's not in a relationship, brushing off the constant Araga pairing talk by declaring, "I'm a bird, and I like to fly." Ricky didn't hold back either, admitting he'd told himself "forget Araga" because he genuinely likes Goddessa, and that he didn't come into the house just for tasks and wagers.
