53 Extra: Up close with Toyin Lawani

Last night on 53 Extra we dove deep into the world of fashion! Our cameras captured all the flair and vivacity at the second edition 'ICM Catwalk' that was a fabulous affair.


We also shone the spotlight on Nigerian music, which has evolved over the years from classic afro-beat sounds to the contemporary afro pop grooves of today. We compared and contrasted these changes in an enticing music feature.


After taking a break from the scene, Bracket came back with a bang. We hung out with the singing duo and got to see a different side of these two buddies.


Lastly, we caught up with Toyin Lawani. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Language from the University of Lagos. She is an entrepreneur who had her first business at the age of 16 with a boutique, a mini supermarket, and a spa all while studying at the University of Lagos! Today she is a celebrated entrepreneur known for her many business brands under Tiannah’s Place.
