Mausi
The Priestess of the local deity,Mausi became an acolyte under her predecessor as a ten year old girl. Her position is her entire world, in some ways her entire reality, and she will do anything to uphold it.
When people come to consult her, she usually speaks to them from behind a raffia screen, or uses a grass veil if she must go into the village, which she almost never does. Most people have not seen her face and there are stories of all the bad things that could happen to people if they do.
