Sadiq Daba is a seasoned broadcaster and actor who has been around for many years. Famous for interpreting the role of Bitrus in the defunct TV drama Cockcrow at Dawn, Daba made an award-winning comeback to the big screen as Inspector Danladi Waziri in Kunle Afolayan’s October 1.
Gloria Young kicked off her career with the popular The Charly Boy Show before transitioning into Nollywood by starring in Glamour Girls. Now known as Gloria Norbert Young, the actress has over 70 films to her credit including Price of Fame, Women’s Cot, Return of Women’s Cot and Dange. A practicing thespian, she acted in The Five Maids of Fadaka.
Tina Mba is a popular Nollywood actress and producer. She has starred in big blockbusters including Make a Move, Tango with Me and The Tenant. The Enugu indigene produced The Return of The Golden Sword and acted in Ewe Koko, A Yoruba movie. A lover of the theater, she acted in the stage play Beatification of Area Boys.
Oge Okoye is a Theatre Arts graduate from Nnamdi Azikiwe University. Okoye has starred in over 100 films including Corporate Maid, Blackberry Babes, Black Bra, The Snake Girl andMorning After Dark. She is also a titled chief – Igolo Nwanyi 1 of Amoli kingdom in Awgu local government area of Enugu State.
Bukky Ajayi made her presence felt in the popular soap opera Village Headmaster. She features regularly in music videos and recently acted in the 2013 hit Mother of George. Her other acting credits include Witches, Dukia, Fine Things, Women’s Cot, The Return of Women’s Cot and Black Sister.
Anne Njemanze, popularly known as Domitilla, began her Nollywood career in the mid-nineties starring in Rattle Snake and Domitilla. Once married to popular Nollywood actor Segun Arinze, she has starred in Living Abroad and Best Lovers. She is also a regular face on the Tinsel set and has played the role of Sankey.
Ivie Okujaye needs little introduction. An award-winning actress turned producer, Okujaye is a three time AfricaMagic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) nominee and won the Trailblazer Award in the 2013 edition. She has acted in several soaps and telenovelas including Ebony Life TV’s Dowry and How She Left My Brother.
