Jara: The rise of TV stars

This week on Jara it is all about the world of TV stars and what better way to get to know that unique world than by chatting to the stars of Tinsel! The hit African soapie has kept people glued to the screens of years and us at Jara caught up with the talented cast and crew on set as they cooked up some more drama.

And later we profile Uzo Osimkpa. She is what we call a prolific actress! Known as Uzor, she is an actress, writer, show host, entrepreneur and CEO of Uzie Verse Concepts. She started her career on stage in 2000 and has featured in over 30 different stage productions.


Lastly tonight we'll be sitting down with Kelechi Udegbe, an actor and voice over artist. He obtained a certificate course in acting from Pencil Film and Television Institute (PEFTI) in 2005. In 2013 he played the lead role (Dan) in the horror thriller "Kpians". Udegbe has also featured in several movies and TV soaps, some of which include All Sorts of Trouble, Bursting Out, Yaws and Mine, Superstory, Hotel Majestic and Tinsel.
