The spotlight fell on three housemates whose fortunes contrasted sharply: Faith, who rose to power as Interim Head of House (HoH); Mensan, who stumbled into the “Snail of the House” title; and Joanna, who found herself back under the weight of her snail punishment despite enjoying brief luxuries during the week.
Faith is crowned Head of House
Faith stamped his authority by outshining Koyin and Kuture in the HoH challenge. His victory saw him become Interim HoH and he will defend the title tomorrow. He once again chose Joanna as his guest.
Mensan is Snail of the House
At the other end of the spectrum, Mensan was tagged Snail of the House after an uninspiring performance in the challenge. The title, usually a mix of embarrassment and inconvenience, often comes with extra chores or symbolic costumes. Mensan opted for bathroom duties as his punishment.
Joanna resumes wearing her snail outfit
For Joanna, the evening played out like a rollercoaster. On one hand, she was once again chosen as Faith’s HoH guest but she found herself having to wear her snail costume again for another after flouting the rules. A few days ago, she had also picked up the red telephone, earning access to a special room for herself and Dede, complete with plush beds, ready-made meals, and comforts far beyond what the other housemates endured. For a while, Joanna lived in luxury, the very opposite of what a “house snail” should experience. But her punishment was reinstated, forcing her back into the snail costume and the humbling role that came with it.
