Some call him Dandy Krazy or King Dandy, while some know him fondly by his birth names of Moses Wesley Chibamba; but the one thing everybody can agree on is that the Kitwe based singer song writer and entrepreneur is that he is unique in his style of dressing as well as his music.
Not one to shy away from controversy, King Dandy had a brief stint with the law a few years ago when he was incarcerated for possession. Most recently, he had some disagreements with certain members of a prominent political party, an argument which degenerated into a scuffle that saw the dreadlocked Donchi Kubeba crooner scaling fences to avoid getting knifed.
Armed with very catchy tunes and lyrics off his recent body of work aptly named King Dandy @ 40, the singer songwriter has his sights set on taking his music to the global scene. Though he has in the past done tours across Europe and the USA, King Dandy believes there are still untapped regions he would like to take his music to; and he also hopes to set a brilliant example to all his fans, but most notably, his kids by diversifying his efforts into construction and farming.
But let's not let the cat out of the bag completely. King Dandy will be chilling in the hot seat this Friday on Zed top 10 and as usual, he will be sharing loads of insights into his music, dalliances with politics as well as business ventures in the pipeline; so make sure to tune in.
