Born in 1992, Tonny Antwone Katongo has always been fascinated by music and singing and this unwavering love for the arts culminated in him recording his debut single at the tender age of 12. His debut single was recorded with Zambian hip-hop legend Macky II and it earned him some instant fame in his locality.
Fast forward a few years later and his love for the arts was further enhanced by him setting up his own record label Fresh Boy Muziq, and the calibre of artistes he worked and produced music for and with, speaks volumes as it showcases the quality this young man can churn out from his studios. Most notably are Macky II, Chefy 187, Pjay, XYZ, Willz, Slap Dee, just to name a few.
The multi-faceted music muso hasn’t gone unnoticed as he is fondly referred to by his teeming fans as one of Zambia’s biggest music producers, even mirrored in the fact that he has been nominated for several awards.
Tonny Breezy will be in the hot seat with K’Chinga on this week’s episode of ZedTop 10 and he will be talking about what inspired him at such an early age to get into music, as well as the calibre of talents he has worked with over the years.
