It’s almost time for the holiday season – and once you remove your working hats, we want you to have a solid plan on how to spend time with family and friends in style. Every Sunday at 20:00hrs, right here on Zambezi Magic DStv Channel 162 and GOtv Channel 5, besides the catfights and tense confrontations, the Royal Qlique served us amazing ideas on how to hang out and have fun to the fullest. Food was always on the menu, but there are more activities we would also love to try out. We are ready to satisfy all the FOMO we had all season long.
Without further ado, here is a list of fun things you get up to with your personal faves:
- Go for a massage with a friend or sibling
Who doesn’t love to be pampered and treated like an egg? We saw the ladies going for massages to blow off some stress accumulated from all the fights and drama they found themselves in. After a long year of busy-ness, a massage is the perfect way to treat yourself and get your mind ready for the festive season!
- Celebrate life and the festive season with food
Good food is equal to pure joy, don’t you agree? Take some time out to celebrate all your achievements, big or small, just like we saw the Royal Qlique doing throughout the season.
- Go on a glam date with your friend
Ladies and gents, a glam session is key if you will be attending any special events this season. The Royal Qlique taught us that no occasion is too small for a face beat and cute outfits. Grab your bestie and take some time to dress up before you hit the streets to enjoy life.
- Go on romantic dates
What is life without romance? With all that time on your hands this holiday season, go on fancy dates with someone you wish to know better. Blind dates are also in fashion, but don’t forget to stay safe when you meet someone for the first time.
- Hang out at a restaurant and hit the arcade for some games
You are never too old for some arcade games with your friends. The Qlique took their hang out to an arcade where they had some spicy conversations and delicious snacks. You too deserve a fun and playful treatment like this!
- Take a flight to Dubai for some soft living
If you can, why not!? Book a flight for you and your bestie to enjoy some holiday time in Dubai, where you can sail on a yacht, let your hair down at the best clubs, and indulge in a shopping spree! If you are a true believer in the soft life, this one is for you!
- Head back to the village for some nature, peace and quiet
The roots are where it all begins especially when it comes down to being relaxed, and connecting with family members. Take some time out to visit the village where you can wake up to the morning soundtrack of cows and chickens. It doesn’t get any more real than this!
- Take a trip to a nature reserve
If you love wild animals and the vast savanna, you would love to spend time deep in nature. The ladies took a trip to Chaminuka to feed some animals and ride horses, and it was a perfect chance to explore new and unusual experiences.
- Attend some self-defense classes
This one might not be considered relaxing but it is a perfect way to learn a new skill and bond with your girls. Self-defence has become a necessity in today’s world and this could be a great way to connect and grow with your faves.
- Throw a girls’ games night
This is the easiest one on the list. All you need is a house, your besties, some food, beverages and a bunch of games. The Royal Qlique played a game of “Never have I ever” and we were here for it all! You can also get more board games like 30 Seconds, Pictionary and Monopoly to make sure your night keeps going. Don’t forget to make a fire playlist to get you and your friends dancing.
- A camping trip
A camping trip is a perfect chance to wind down and get back to the basics, away from the city’s buzz. All you need is bug spray, and someone who knows how to set up a tent, and cook on a fire. How many of us would last a week in the wild without phone signal, electricity and running water? It’s worth a try!
