Those who’ve been there know that starting a business is one the most difficult tasks one can embark on, and it takes those persistent and resilient enough, to make it to the top. Enter: Kweza, a business show set up to assist Zambian entrepreneurs with funding for their businesses and help make the journey a smoother affair.

Kweza burst onto our screens on Thursday the 14thof October 2021 and the excitement at launch was infectious. It all started on social media where our Zambezi Magic family spread the word by tagging family and friends upon seeing the promo, urging everyone to tune in.

It’s safe to say Zambia was waiting with bated breath for the first episode!

Reactions

When Kweza began, some of our viewers commented on the quality of the show, likening it to international shows of a similar format. Some, on the other hand, felt sad that they were not part of the ensemble of business owners that will be showcasing their businesses on the show. Many fans of Kweza loved the fact that the show shines a spotlight on the issues and red tape Zambians go through when trying to open small businesses so they can feed their families.

A lot of our audience, however, was particularly excited about the chance to see and understand the various business ideas being pitched and expressed how the show motivates a spirit of business and responsibility.

Our Council Of Elders was also applauded for their sharp observations and business know-how. The people of Zambia are proud and cannot wait to see who the ultimate winner of the K1 000 000 will be, at the end of it all.

Be sure to tune in to #Kweza every Thursday at 19:00hrs on #ZambeziMagic DStv Channel 162. Who knows? You might pick up a few ideas to help with your business.?
