Zambezi Magic viewers have drama and romance in store as the bold drama series, Makofi and dating reality show Wanilata? return with new seasons.
The third season of Makofi premieres on Monday 13 February, occupying the Monday to Wednesday 21:30 weekly slot. The series is set in the boxing world and follows the lengths that people go to protect themselves.
Makofi stars Chimwemwe Zulu as Anna and features some exciting new characters. This season sees Anna trying to reinvent Makofi gym into a boxing academy – her father’s original vision. However, the academy’s success threatens the monopoly of preexisting promoters. Will Anna be able to keep her father’s dream a reality, or will the greed and jealousy of others scupper her plans?
Premiering on Saturday, 18 February at 20:00 is Wanilata? Which sees hopeful singletons declaring their love to their crushes.
