26 April 2022, Lusaka: The most anticipated fifth season of Zambezi Magic’s enthralling telenovela, Mpali, will premiere on 11 May. The drama will also air for five nights a week from its original Monday to Thursday night primetime slot starting 16 May.
The new season of the massively popular series from Zambezi Magic follows Nguzu and his family as they face their toughest challenges yet.
Nguzu, reeling from a sudden death of a family member, returns home and is shocked to learn his farm has closed and has been seized by his enemy…with the help of the least expected. Nguzu – whose kin is expanding even further, causing more tension – will fight for the farm, but who will be the casualties of his wrath?
This season will also see characters face off as they fight their demons and the past deeds that haunt them. Can they overcome these battles? Who will emerge triumphant? Will the farm and family ever rise?

Tune into Mpali season 5 on Zambezi Magic (DStv channel 162 and GOtv Supa channel 5), Monday to Thursday, starting 11 May 2022 at 20h30. The telenovela will then air from Monday to Friday effective 16 May at 20h30.
