We have witnessed the ups and downs of this relationship between Zuba and Thando and some may even say it was doomed from the beginning. We all remember Thando cheating on Zuba the night before their wedding day, and even the rings went missing. Perhaps that should have been a sign? 

It was a classical Hollywood love story: boy meets girl, someone messes up and their love is disturbed and they break up,  but  in the they end up getting back together and living happily ever after; only the ever after isn’t a happy one for Thando and Zuba. 

These are some of the things that they have survived: 

* They have survived infidelity. 

* They have survived falling in love with other people. 

* They have survived having children with other people. 

* They have survived a kidnapping. 

Reflecting on everything that they have been through, you’d think that they would have made peace after Zuba found out that Thando lied about saving Mutinta, but perhaps that was just the straw that broke the camel’s back. 

We saw Thando receive the divorce papers and the deeds to the land that he bought for Zuba this week.  Is this the end of the road for Thando and Zuba?
