It has been clear from day one that Lucy had an agenda marrying into the Kirunda family, which was to take over the business together with her husband, Patrick.
She has tried and failed many times, but recent events led to her being chased out of the house.
When Linda broke the news to her family that she was diagnosed with a liver problem, Lucy saw an opportunity to make her move.
She sold the scoop to newspapers long before the family released a statement. She went further by trying to convince Patrick that he should prepare for his mother’s death.
“Your mother is dying, and you know what that means right? It’s time for us to take over the company like we always wanted to,” she said.
Though Patrick wasn’t opposing anything, he felt Lucy’s greed was extreme.
The last straw was when Nakakande, the senior house help, found Lucy pouring a white powdered substance into Linda’s drink. When challenged to drink the juice to confirm it wasn’t poison, Lucy refused and instead poured the juice onto the ground.
All hell broke loose when the Kirunda children ganged up on her and unanimously agreed that she should leave the mansion.
“I have never seen Patrick this angry,” Nakakande told the other house helpers.
When she left, instead of going home to her mother, Lucy opted to go to Kirabo’s house and the welcome she got was not what she expected.
However, knowing Lucy this is not the end. She will come up with a story to get herself back into the mansion and continue to fight for the company which was in existence long before she married into the Kirundas.
The story continues and we’re here for all the drama. Catch Sanyu everyday at 8pm on Pearl Magic Prime DStv channel 148.
