Chelsea’s growing relationship with Crispin was starting to take shape when ex-lover Joshua appeared out of nowhere, making it clear he wanted to fix things. Crispin went to the Innovate office to surprise Chelsea with a bunch of flowers, but things didn’t go as planned when he saw them in her office together.

Out of frustration, he threw the flowers away and left without seeing Chelsea. His hurt was so deep he even turned down Jasmine’s advances.

When it comes to Joshua, Chelsea blows hot and cold. She can definitely see the red flags but chooses to look away.

What has Joshua done?

Joshua already had financial problems that mounted into millions of Ugandan shillings when he came back into the picture; and baby girl was willing to help. She tossed out all her business ethics and immediately sent him money without seeing any paperwork. One could say, ‘but she’s helping her boyfriend’ and that’s true, but why only when he came back into her life?

The mind games never end with Joshua. He organised a family brunch with Chelsea’s father behind her back and even though she didn’t like it, he softened her up by saying ‘I was trying to do something nice for you’.

Joshua’s confidence works for him and he’s well aware of it, which is probably why Chelsea is finding it difficult to resist him. He knows exactly the right words to say at any given moment    and in this way might have won over Eunice and Jeje too.

The last straw was when he told her he wanted to propose to her during the brunch but couldn’t because there was another guest at the table.

As things are now, Joshua is out of the country and his phone has been off since his mother informed Chelsea that he left. Will he come back, what will his explanation be?
