The news of George and Sanyu’s engagement was received with mixed emotions by a lot of people. Others were not even aware that these two were dating.

However, the person who is finding it the most difficult to accept this reality is Oscar. The younger son of the Kirundas has even started drinking.

It is no secret he has always wanted to be with Sanyu, but time and again he has failed her. The last straw for her was when she wanted him in her corner, and he never showed up for her.

From then on things went south and she found solace in George’s arms. Now that there is a wedding planned, Oscar is finding it hard to accept that his cousin and friend is marrying the woman he loves.

To add fuel to their fire, George asked him to be his best man. A fight broke out and since then Oscar has been nursing his feelings with the bottle.

Sanyu not ready for marriage

Her parents are so excited that they want the wedding to happen as soon as possible. Sanyu doesn’t feel ready but that’s not up to her.

“Tata I’m not happy, I don’t want to be with this man,” she told her father. He reminded her she should have thought about her happiness before moving in with George.

Batte wants the best for her daughter and George has been nothing but a respectful and kind young man in their eyes, as opposed to Oscar who has been nothing but a source of pain.
