Ever since her exit from the Kirunda mansion, Lucy’s life hasn’t been easy. She has moved from friends to acquaintances and none of them have been able to handle her dominant and strong personality.

The realisation that there is no place like home came to her just in time. However, as she predicted, all her skeletons came knocking at her door.

The father of her son, Matia, who happens to be related to Sanyu’s stepmother, came knocking as soon as he heard of her presence in the village.

Clearly, they haven’t been talking all these years. It’s not surprising though, she hasn’t spoken to her mother either, let alone acknowledged she has a son. It also came to light that the father of Lucy’s son is Sanyu’s step-uncle.
 

Matia, being the devious man he is, spotted an opportunity to make a quick buck at the expense of never having a relationship with his son.

In an attempt to buy his silence, Lucy paid him off and he promised never to say a word. Barely days after receiving the 1.5 million shillings, like a conman, he came back for more.

Lucy now has to decide what she will do with him to make sure he never says a word. It is a tricky situation for her because things are starting to look up and she could be called back to the mansion again.

The question now remains: will she keep paying off Matia for his silence? What will happen when he gets drunk and tells the whole village? Or better yet, what will happen if this information reaches the Kirundas?
