The curtain has officially fallen on Pearl Magic Prime’s long-running telenovela Damalie … indefinitely? Well, that’s what we’re all trying to figure out. If there’s one thing we know about the production team, it’s that they love a break, a twist, and a strategic comeback. So, should we sit back in anticipation? Or protect our hearts? Because Damalie is nothing if not unpredictable.
Anyway, what was that finale? There’s so much to unpack, we need a whole group discussion. Let’s start with the biggest shockwaves:
Joel and Solaire
Solaire walked into this fight fully aware that Damalie holds a permanent, emotional VIP pass in Joel’s heart. But even then … it’s wild that Joel didn’t hesitate to hand Solaire over to the police, yet has risked everything, including his sanity, to protect Damalie from multiple murder charges.

Solaire thought the game was hers. She was ready to finish Damalie once and for all … until the plot flipped. Her ride-or-die lover Joel chose to save Damalie instead and nearly died doing it.
To be fair, Joel did warn her: Leave Damalie alone. And in true Solaire fashion, she didn’t listen. At all.
Zabuli, Mary-Catherine Zabuli, and Joel
This storyline alone is enough reason to petition for season 3 immediately, because we need answers yesterday.
Catherine showing up at Joel’s gate announcing she’s his daughter? Jaw. Drop. And whatever truth bomb she dropped after that clearly shook him and raised big questions about Zabuli’s identity. Zabuli seems to know Catherine, but then what about the DNA results? Is she who she says she is? What’s her real story? We are confused but invested.
Damalie, Zabuli, Kaliba, and the Nun
Then there’s the gangster nun, yes, gangster nun who rescued Damalie disguised in a police uniform. We know who she is … but who is she really? And why are there two Zabulis walking around? Does Damalie know there’s another one? What if the second Zabuli is Kaliba’s secret weapon?
With all these twists and turns, if there’s one thing Damalie has delivered consistently for two long seasons, it’s elite lying. Damalie will lie, lie, lie with confidence, with flair, with zero hesitation. But will season 3 finally force the truth out? Or will we keep spiralling into her world of beautifully crafted chaos?
As the song says, “Hoping for the best but expecting the worst. Are you going to drop the bomb or not?”
With that said, we’re not leaving you hanging. While Damalie may have ended (for now), Pearl Magic Prime isn’t leaving you empty-handed.
