If you've been following Girl from Mparo, you will definitely know why we agree with the statement. The show, which stars one of Africa's finest comedians, Anne Kansiime, has been a fan favourite since it made its debut on Pearl Magic.
We don't need to tell you why the show is so popular. You’ve laughed along with us, but we can’t help agree that the cast does a stellar job bringing a local story to life. The cast includes Raymond Rushabiro, Eva Kemizinga, Akite Agnes, Frobisher Lwanga and of course the lead – Kansiime. The show follows the life of Anne, who's never been to the city and suddenly finds herself having to live a life that she's not used to, while keeping her stake in the family. Although she finds the city overwhelming, she's determined to adapt.
