While Mabutho riuns for his life, he got Paulina to do the same and take baby Thato with her but when they come across Charlie and he refuses to be part of their plan. On the other side, the Mokoenas put two and two together and figures that it's Paulina who's behind it all but they are too late to the scene.

It's the day of the lobola negotaitions, the day Vero and Nomonde have to play all their cards right to convince everyone that she's about to have a miscarriage but all quickly goes south. Nomonde does her part and fakes it well but the one person that she depended on, Vero drops the ball and causes her to be taken to a real doctor.

Donald confronts Mpumi about her affair with Mohau. She admits to sleeping with him on their wedding day. He loses his temper, which alerts the whole family to watch it all play out. He soon passes out while asking Mpumi how she could do this to him.
