Seipati has had just about enough with Mandla and the life that he has subjected her to. She doesn't feel the same about him anymore and feels like she doesn't know this version of him. She continues to explain that Bukhosi values her and puts her happiness first and that's what she would rather have than always feeling like she's second best.

Robert is celebrating his victory after being found not guilty and he celebrates with his movement and community but when Sarah tries to join him for his party, he prefers to not remind people of her negative press and suggests she doesn't join. Dennis has something to discuss with him but Robert prefers to bask in the happiness first before talking business.

Emma couldn't take the pain anymore of what has been happening with her and Zolani, she then decided to write him a letter saying her goodbyes and hoping that he finds someone who can love him right. After telling the family, they all find her at the river where she tried to take her life which makes Zolani re-evaluate everything.

Ayanda's mum pays ma'Gumede a visit but she is out for blood. Mam'Gumede is not willing to listen to her and storms out and leaves her at her home. Ayanda's mum takes the opportunity to go through her stuff and finds a letter where she takes the blame for Ayanda's disappearance. She then heads to the river to find Mam'Gumede to stop her from confessing but she miraculously sees her come out of the water with Ayanda. Much to her and Mam'Gumede's surprise, Ayanda is alive and well, thanks to the ancestors who brought her back.
