Enzo's mom thinks up a solution that ensures that Enzo can have her cake and eat it simultaneously. She proposes that Kgalefa and Mpilo share their time with Enzo and do not break up with her. They begrudgingly agree to the proposition because their love for her far outweighs this little hiccup. Enzo, in turn, gives them a way out should they not want to continue with this rather spicey arrangement.

Enzo is facing a tough decision on whether she must go ahead with marrying Mpilo or not. She cannot continue lying to herself anymore and while at the altar; her cold feet get pretty warm as she makes a run for it straight into a getaway car. She chooses herself, her freedom and her friends and has never felt so emancipated because she was about to make the biggest mistake of her life if she had married Mpilo. This then is the end of Mpinzo. A reality that Mpilo is not ready to face as he runs after the getaway car in hopes of stopping Enzo from leaving.

Mpilo has convinced Enzo to marry him in community of property under the guise of proving his love for her. Unbeknown to her, a much more sinister plan is underway to gain access to the money she will make from the pherozone deal. Mpilo and his mom plan to use that money for their benefit. By the time she realises their plan, she will be unable to stop them and would have also inherited half of his debts.
