It’s no secret that we all love a bit of drama, and when the drama centers two fiery women who’re competing for what they want, it becomes hard to choose sides.

From Season 1 of The River, we were introduced to the unstoppable force that is Lindiwe Dikana (played by Sindi Dlathu) and her headstrong step-daughter, Nomonde Dikana (Linda Mtoba).

As they fought blow for blow, fighting for the attention of father and husband Zweli Dikana (Hlomla Dandala), to both of them solidifying their position in the family – both Lindiwe and Nomonde are relentless in their pursuit of what they proclaim to be theirs.
