Tebatso visits Poppy after getting a visit from Sarah. He is very upset with Poppy and wants to verify that he is not the father since they were intimate. Poppy insults him, and he then insults her back by saying that he clearly dodged a bullet where she is concerned. He goes on to say that he feels sorry for the baby as it will have to grow up in Poppy's family. Brenda then comes to Poppy's rescue, chases Tebatso out, and comforts Poppy after the encounter.

Mandla confronts Puleng about what the doctor told him: he is not Njabulo's father. Puleng shuts down and refuses to speak. He later keeps pushing the matter to find out who Njabulo's father is. He is unsuccessful as Puleng remains silent.

Japan sits down with his father and learns of a different truth than the one that Brenda told him. He learns that Brenda was the one that wanted to get rid of him and not Shakes. He then confronts Brenda and blames her for how his life has panned out. He is disgusted with her for keeping his father from him.

Mohau is still holding on to the father/son relationship between him and Mandla. He thanks Gagashe for not retaliating against Mandla, as he is still his father. Gagashe then asks him for Mandla's email logins while dangling a project manager job in exchange. Gagashe gains access to Mandla's emails and is very happy because his plan is one that Mandla will never forget.
