Mam'Gumede promises to find a way to help her son out of this mess and begs him not to lose hope. After she leaves the detective urges Msizi to confess so that her mother can be ok. Msizi says he is innocent but the detective presses him and says that such cases can go on for a long time and the financial implications this will have on his mum will be dire. Mam'Gumede returns to the police station but before she can finish telling the detective the good news of finding a better lawyer, he informs her that Msizi has confessed to the crime that he is accused of.

The party continues, and Thami is once again at the centre of it. He even gets into a fight when he gets advised to do better than partying since he has lost everything. Reality hits him hard when his card declines after partying, and he is now in debt.

In a very unexoectedd turn of events, Bukhosi's past in the military come back to bite him when he least expects it. While in the house minding their own business, soldiers come in numbers to kidnap Nomafu in order to get Bukhosi to cooperate and give them what they want after counting all that he did and stole.
