After Bukhosi saves Bangizwe's life when he went to confront the diamonds seller in Refilwe, Lindiwe invites his whole family for dinner as a token of appreciation. Before going home, Nomafu and Bukhosi feel uneasy still and believe it's best to get her out of the way.

Tina is reeling from the aftermath of her family finding out about her and Ra. Her mother consoles her, but she is inconsolable. However, she takes her mother's advice to talk to her kids again. This does not go well, as they do not understand why she would d this. Sakhile goes as far as calling the family elders, who shame her for dating a younger man. At that point, Tina's mum has heard enough and chases them away.

All the panicking that Charlie did at the Hlophes is now getting him into even more trouble because now they want to take him out. Ndumiso is now onto him as well and his suspicious get worse when they find him scared on the road, not knowing that it's because of the Hlophes.

Charlie is going through a lot since finding out that Lindiwe now knows that things are looking suspicious at the mine since her return. His paranoia leads him to the Hlophes, begging them to take him in so that he doesn't get killed.
