Mohau has his exit plan all planned out. He did not plan for Mantoa to change her mind as she feels she has worked very hard in this marriage and will not allow all her hard work to come to nothing. So she decides that it is better to stay. Mohau asks he why she would want to stay in a loveless marriage. She says She would rather stay in a loveless marriage than leave.

Paulina is still standing firm to the fact that she doesn't want Thuso to be a part of her child's life no matter what because of how toxic their love has been and she won't allow her child to be exposed to that. Even though the family is starting to suspect that he knows something, Thuso is still not saying anything.

Mlilo has had just about enough of his father not wanting his relationship to the point of them being physical with each other so he decides that he wants to rob a bank in order to prove a point because him and Nkanyiso have been doing the most for the family but not benefiting from it. Now Nkanyiso needs to pick a side.

Mantoa tells Mandla that the secret that she is carrying is very heavy and since it is heavy, she wants payment for having to carry such a heavy burden. He later tries to reason with her to agree to keep his secret, but she is not interested in anything he offers. He even goes as far as offering her a job, but she tells him that she is a lady of leisure and will not be working. She will, however, have her money, and she will get it from Mandla.
